About At The Gates
At The Gates are a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in Gothenburg in 1990. They are best known for the 1995 album Slaughter of the Soul, which includes “Blinded by Fear” and the title track, and later records such as At War with Reality and To Drink from the Night Itself.
The 2008 Suicidal Final Tour brought the reunited lineup to Wacken Open Air, and footage from that performance appeared in the concert film The Flames of the End. After resuming activity in 2010, the band headlined the 2015 Decibel Magazine Tour, which also featured Converge and Vallenfyre.
They also performed at Hellfest in Clisson and at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel.
