About Sylosis
Sylosis are a British metal band formed in Reading in 2000, led by guitarist and vocalist Josh Middleton. They play thrash metal and melodic death metal, and are known for albums including Edge of the Earth, Monolith and Dormant Heart, as well as songs such as “Empyreal” and “Heavy Is the Crown.”
In 2013, Sylosis toured North America with Trivium and DevilDriver until an RV crash injured members of the touring party and ended their run. They returned to the stage at Download Pilot in 2021, then undertook a UK and Ireland headline tour in 2024 that included the Electric Ballroom in London.
