Atomic Rooster in Worthing

Atomic Rooster were an English progressive and hard rock band formed in London in 1969 by keyboardist Vincent Crane, drummer Carl Palmer and bassist Nick Graham. Driven by Crane’s Hammond organ, the group became known for the singles “Tomorrow Night” and “Devil’s Answer” and the album Death Walks Behind You. Atomic Rooster performed at the Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music in 1970 and appeared at the Reading Festival the following year, when their best-known records were establishing the band on the British rock circuit. The BBC later recorded the group in 1972 for an In Concert performance at the Paris Theatre.
