Avery*Sunshine in Nashville

Avery*Sunshine is an American singer, songwriter and pianist born in Chester, Pennsylvania. Her music draws on soul, contemporary R&B, gospel and jazz; her self-titled debut introduced songs including “Ugly Part of Me,” while “Call My Name” became a signature recording from the album The SunRoom. Avery*Sunshine has performed at the Essence Festival and Capital Jazz Fest as part of a touring career built around her voice and keyboard playing. Her concerts feature a full band, and guitarist Dana Johnson, her husband and longtime songwriting partner, is a central musical collaborator.
