Avery Wilson is an American R&B singer, songwriter and actor from Hamden, Connecticut. He became widely known as a contestant on the third season of The Voice and later released the single “If I Have To.” He has also performed in musical theatre, playing the Scarecrow in the Broadway revival of The Wiz.

In 2023, Wilson joined the pre-Broadway national tour of The Wiz, which opened at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre. After playing theatres across the United States, the production opened on Broadway at New York’s Marquis Theatre in 2024.
