Artist
Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, born in Cotonou, Benin, in 2002, who makes Afropop and R&B. After signing to Mavin Records, she released her self-titled EP and the album 19 & Dangerous in 2021. “Bloody Samaritan,” “Rush” and “Sability” became signature songs, followed by the album The Year I Turned 21. In 2023, Ayra Starr launched 21: The World Tour, her first headlining world tour, playing club and theatre rooms across its itinerary. Her festival appearances later included a 2024 performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
