Ayria in Phoenix

Ayria is a Canadian electronic project founded by singer and songwriter Jennifer Parkin in 2003. Its synthpop, futurepop and electro-industrial sound was established on the debut album Debris, which includes “Disease” and “My Device,” and developed further on Flicker, Hearts for Bullets and Plastic Makes Perfect. Ayria joined VNV Nation for the North American Matter + Form tour in 2005 and later toured with Front Line Assembly. Parkin performs the songs with a live backing band, placing her vocals and electronic arrangements in a club-stage format. European appearances took Ayria to Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and Infest in Bradford.
