Artist
Azad is a German rapper born in Sanandaj and raised in Frankfurt am Main. He first became known through the hip-hop group Asiatic Warriors before establishing a solo career with albums including Leben, Faust des Nordwestens and Der Bozz. His best-known recordings include “Napalm” and “Prison Break Anthem (Ich glaub’ an dich),” a collaboration with Adel Tawil. The One Tour brought Azad and Kool Savas together onstage following their collaborative album One in 2005. He later returned to club venues for the Leben II Tour, built around the sequel to his solo debut, and his concert history also includes performances at splash! Festival in Ferropolis and Openair Frauenfeld.
