Aziz Ansari in Davie

Aziz Ansari is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and director, born in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1983. He became widely known as Tom Haverford in Parks and Recreation and later co-created and starred in Master of None. His observational stand-up about relationships, technology and social life has appeared in specials including Buried Alive, Live at Madison Square Garden and Right Now. The Buried Alive tour produced a 2013 special recorded at Philadelphia’s Merriam Theater. He followed it by filming Live at Madison Square Garden at the New York arena in 2014, then developed Right Now on the Road to Nowhere tour; Spike Jonze directed the special at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He later recorded Nightclub Comedian at the Comedy Cellar.
