Bad Gyal is a Spanish singer and songwriter born Alba Farelo in 1997 in Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia. She makes dancehall, reggaeton and Latin trap, first attracting attention with “Pai,” her Catalan adaptation of Rihanna’s “Work.” Her catalogue includes the mixtapes Slow Wine Mixtape and Worldwide Angel, the songs “Fiebre,” “Zorra” and “Alocao,” and her debut studio album La Joia. In 2022, Bad Gyal performed at Coachella. The La Joia: 24 Karats Tour followed in 2024 and included arena dates at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona and WiZink Center in Madrid.
