About Balkan Paradise Orchestra
Balkan Paradise Orchestra is a Spanish all-women brass band formed in Barcelona in 2015. The group plays Balkan-rooted brass music shaped by percussion, pop and electronic rhythms, and is known for the albums K’ataka, Odissea and Nèctar.
The K’ataka tour took the ensemble beyond its home city for concerts across Spain and elsewhere in Europe. After developing the Odissea material through its audiovisual Game Sessions project, the band returned to clubs, theatres and festivals, followed by the Nèctar Tour.
