Band Of Friends in Schenefeld

Band Of Friends is an international blues-rock group formed in 2012 by bassist Gerry McAvoy, drummer Ted McKenna and Dutch guitarist Marcel Scherpenzeel. McAvoy and McKenna had both played with Rory Gallagher, whose songs the group performs alongside its own material. Its releases include the studio albums Too Much Is Not Enough and Repeat After Me, and the live album Live ’n’ Kickin. In 2016, the trio played The Globe in Cardiff, The Borderline in London and The Cathouse in Glasgow before appearing at the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon.
