Barbara Ruscher in Oestrich-Winkel

Barbara Ruscher is a German cabaret performer and author, born in Rheinbach in 1969. Her works include the novel “Fuck the Möhrchen,” the stage programme “Nackig! Der Kampf ums letzte Hemd” and the CD “Ekstase ist nur eine Phase.” Her work on German-language cabaret stages dates to 1998. She won the Eschweiler Lok cabaret competition in 2004, reached the Prix Pantheon final in 2007 and received bronze in the 2011–12 Kabarettbundesliga. Her performances have taken her to Stuttgart’s Renitenztheater and Berlin’s Die Wühlmäuse. She has also appeared at Hamburg’s Schmidt Theater and the International Cologne Comedy Festival.
