About Baschi
Baschi is the stage name of Swiss pop singer Sebastian Bürgin, who was born in 1986 and grew up in Gelterkinden. He first reached a national television audience through the talent show MusicStar, then established a catalogue of Swiss German pop led by his self-titled debut album and the song “Bring en hei,” Switzerland’s song for UEFA Euro 2008.
In 2004, Baschi took the debut album on tour across Switzerland and built his live career around performances with his band. The 20 Jahre Baschi anniversary concerts revisited that catalogue in 2024, culminating in a show at St. Jakobshalle in Basel.
