Basement Jaxx in Ibiza

Basement Jaxx are a British electronic music duo formed by Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe in Brixton in 1994. Their house and dance-pop catalogue includes the albums Remedy, Rooty and Kish Kash, and tracks such as “Red Alert,” “Rendez-Vu,” “Romeo,” “Where’s Your Head At” and “Good Luck.” In 2005, Basement Jaxx stepped in for Kylie Minogue as the Sunday-night headliner on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, performing with an expanded live ensemble and multiple vocalists. In 2011, the duo presented their catalogue with the Metropole Orkest in an orchestral concert at London’s Barbican Centre.
