Bazart is a Belgian Dutch-language indie-pop band formed in Ghent in 2012 by Mathieu Terryn and Simon Nuytten, later joined by Oliver Symons. Synth-led songs including “Goud,” “Chaos” and “Grip (Omarm Me)” established their sound, while their debut album, Echo, brought those early singles together. Bazart played major Belgian festivals including Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop before moving into arena concerts. In 2017, they gave three sold-out shows at Lotto Arena, then headlined Sportpaleis in 2018.
