Jasper Steverlinck in Antwerp

Jasper Steverlinck is a Belgian singer-songwriter, born in Ghent in 1976, who first became known as the lead singer of the rock band Arid. The group’s songs include “Me and My Melody” and “You Are”; his solo work began with the album Songs of Innocence and a recording of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars?”, followed by releases including Night Prayer. Night of the Proms brought him into arena concerts backed by an orchestra and choir early in his solo career. He later presented his own catalogue in Belgian theatres, carrying the orchestral approach into concerts associated with the Night Prayer tour.
