Be Your Own Pet is an American punk-rock band formed in Nashville in 2003, fronted by vocalist Jemina Pearl. The group became known for fast, abrasive songs including “Bicycle, Bicycle, You Are My Bicycle,” “Adventure” and “The Kelly Affair,” released across the albums Be Your Own Pet and Get Awkward. After disbanding in 2008, the band reunited and released Mommy. During its original run, Be Your Own Pet toured clubs on both sides of the Atlantic and performed at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. The band returned to the stage in 2022, opening selected dates for Jack White on the Supply Chain Issues Tour.
