beabadoobee in Melbourne

beabadoobee is the stage name of Filipino-British singer-songwriter and guitarist Beatrice Laus, who was born in Iloilo City in 2000 and raised in London. Her guitar-led indie pop and alternative rock found a broad audience through “Coffee,” which Powfu later sampled for “death bed (coffee for your head).” Her albums include Fake It Flowers, Beatopia and This Is How Tomorrow Moves, while “the perfect pair” and “Glue Song” are among her best-known songs. In 2019, beabadoobee opened for Clairo on the Immunity Tour. She later toured Fake It Flowers and Beatopia as a headliner, then supported Taylor Swift at selected Eras Tour dates in 2023. The This Is How Tomorrow Moves Tour followed in 2024 and included a headline concert at Alexandra Palace.
