Beherit is a Finnish black metal band formed in Rovaniemi in 1989 by vocalist-guitarist Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance, bassist Daemon Fornication and drummer Sodomatic Slaughter. Its early recordings included The Oath of Black Blood and Drawing Down the Moon. After the original group disbanded, Nuclear Holocausto continued the name as a solo project on the electronic dark ambient albums H418ov21.C and Electric Doom Synthesis. Beherit also brought its corpse-paint imagery and theatrical presentation to early live performances.
Hulder is a black-metal project founded in the United States in 2018 by Belgian musician Marz Riesterer. Its raw, medieval-tinged sound is documented on the albums Godslastering: Hymns of a Forlorn Peasantry and Verses in Oath, as well as the EP The Eternal Fanfare. A touring lineup performed at Maryland Deathfest in 2022, bringing material originally created as a solo studio project to the stage as a full band. In 2024, Hulder headlined the Decibel Magazine Tour, supported by Devil Master, Worm and Necrofier.
