Ben Becker in Neubrandenburg

Ben Becker is a German actor, singer and spoken-word performer, born in Bremen in 1964. He is known for screen roles in Brother of Sleep and Comedian Harmonists, as well as stage programs built around literature, poetry and biblical texts. In 2007, Ben Becker presented Die Bibel – Eine gesprochene Symphonie at Berlin’s Tempodrom, accompanied by the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg and the Zero Tolerance Band. He later played Death in Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival, then premiered Walter Jens’s monologue Ich, Judas in 2015 and returned to the production for further performances at the Berliner Dom.
