Ben Ottewell & Ian Ball in Brisbane

Ben Ottewell & Ian Ball are English singer-songwriters and guitarists, best known as founding members of Gomez. They helped form the band in Southport in 1996 and contributed to its multi-vocal sound on albums including the Mercury Prize-winning debut Bring It On and Liquid Skin. Their best-known songs include “Whippin’ Piccadilly,” “Get Myself Arrested” and “How We Operate.” Ben Ottewell & Ian Ball played Glastonbury Festival with Gomez in the band’s early years and later returned to the road for the 2018 Bring It On 20th-anniversary tour. Anniversary concerts for Liquid Skin followed, before the pair took their shared repertoire into smaller UK clubs and theatres under their own names. The pair perform as singers and guitarists, drawing on their solo records as well as songs they wrote and recorded with Gomez.

Buddy is an American rapper and singer from Compton, California, known for the albums Harlan & Alondra and Superghetto. His catalog includes “Shine” and “Trouble on Central,” songs that pair conversational rap with melodic hooks. Buddy joined Vince Staples on the 2019 Smile, You’re on Camera Tour, which also featured JPEGMAFIA. Later that year, he performed at Coachella.
