Benise in San Juan Capistrano

Benise is the stage name of American guitarist and composer Roni Benise, whose instrumental music centers on Spanish guitar, flamenco rhythms and Latin influences. He is known for the albums and PBS concert productions Nights of Fire!, The Spanish Guitar and Fuego! Spirit of Spain. Nights of Fire! became a touring theatrical production as well as a televised concert. Benise later brought The Spanish Guitar and Fuego! Spirit of Spain to American theatres, extending the same concert format through new music and choreography. A Benise show features his guitar at the center of an ensemble of musicians, singers and dancers performing flamenco and other Spanish and Latin dance styles. The production is led throughout by Benise.
