About Beyoncé

Beyoncé is an American singer, songwriter and performer born in Houston in 1981. She first became known as a lead vocalist of Destiny’s Child before establishing a solo catalog that includes “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Formation,” as well as the albums Lemonade and Renaissance.

The I Am... World Tour took her to arenas in 2009 and 2010. She and Jay-Z later mounted On the Run Tour in 2014 and On the Run II in 2018, while Formation World Tour placed her in stadiums as a solo headliner in 2016. Renaissance World Tour returned her to stadiums in 2023.

Her 2018 Coachella performance featured a full band, marching-band arrangements, dancers and a Destiny’s Child reunion. The concert became the centerpiece of the film and live album Homecoming.

She performed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and Stade de France outside Paris during the 2023 tour. In 2018, she also appeared at Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 in Johannesburg.
