Artists
Cate Le Bon is a Welsh singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, born in Carmarthenshire in 1983. Her music draws on art pop, post-punk and folk, and her best-known records include Mug Museum, Crab Day, Reward and Pompeii. “Are You With Me Now?”, “Home to You” and “Moderation” are among her signature songs. In 2008, she performed in Neon Neon’s touring band during the Stainless Style campaign. She later headlined club and theatre dates behind Mug Museum and Crab Day, followed by an extensive run for Reward in 2019. The Pompeii concerts brought her back with a full band in 2022, including an appearance at Glastonbury Festival.
Horsegirl is an American indie-rock trio formed in Chicago in 2019 by Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein and Gigi Reece. Their guitar-driven noise pop and post-punk first reached a wider audience through songs including “Ballroom Dance Scene” and “Anti-glory,” followed by the albums Versions of Modern Performance and Phonetics On and On. In 2022, Horsegirl toured clubs and theatres behind Versions of Modern Performance and opened selected North American dates for Pavement. The band followed that run with a 2023 performance at Glastonbury Festival. Horsegirl performs as a three-piece rock band. Nora Cheng and Penelope Lowenstein trade guitar and vocal parts, while Gigi Reece plays drums.
