Big Ass Truck is an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1993 around guitarist Steve Selvidge and drummer Robert Barnett. The group combines hip-hop, rock, funk and psychedelia, using a DJ for beats, loops and samples in the studio and onstage. Its releases include the self-titled debut, Kent, the Sack Lunch EP, Who Let You in Here? and The Rug. Big Ass Truck toured with 311 during its original run and later reunited for shows in 2014. The band returned to the stage again for a 2016 performance at Levitt Shell.
