About Big Cyc
Big Cyc is a Polish rock band formed in 1988, known for punk-driven songs, political satire and absurdist humour. Its best-known recordings include “Berlin Zachodni,” “Makumba,” “Rudy się żeni” and “Świat według Kiepskich,” while the debut album Z partyjnym pozdrowieniem established the group’s irreverent approach.
Big Cyc gave its first concert at the Balbina student club in Łódź, presenting the performance as a satirical happening. The band subsequently took its songs to clubs and open-air events around Poland, including appearances at the Jarocin Festival and Przystanek Woodstock.
