Born Ed Wilson, he began singing blues after serving in the U.S. Army and settling in Europe. His catalogue includes the albums Love Is the Key, Thumb a Ride, Deep in My Soul and Hard Time Blues. Songs from the Road documents Big Daddy Wilson fronting the Goosebumps Bros. in concert. The live release captures his voice at the center of a guitar-led band performance recorded at Blues Garage in Isernhagen.
