Artists
Big Head Todd and The Monsters are an American rock band formed in Boulder, Colorado, in 1986. Their music draws on blues rock, roots rock and jam-band improvisation, and they are best known for the album Sister Sweetly and songs including “Bittersweet,” “Broken Hearted Savior” and “Circle.” The band recorded the concert album Live Monsters at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 1997 and later returned to the venue for repeated headline performances. They have toured extensively across the United States, while the related Big Head Blues Club project has taken tribute programs devoted to Robert Johnson and Willie Dixon on the road.
Isaac Slade is an American singer, pianist and songwriter, born in Colorado in 1981. He co-founded the Denver pop-rock band The Fray with Joe King in 2002, serving as lead vocalist and principal songwriter until his departure in 2022. He performed on the albums How to Save a Life, The Fray, Scars & Stories and Helios, and is closely associated with “Over My Head (Cable Car),” “How to Save a Life” and “You Found Me.” The Fray undertook an extensive world tour in 2007, including a sold-out performance at Massachusetts’ Tweeter Center. Other documented US dates took Slade to Denver’s Gothic Theatre and Minneapolis’s First Avenue. In New York, he appeared with the band at Webster Hall.
