Billy Gilman in Westerly

Billy Gilman is an American country and pop singer from Westerly, Rhode Island, born in 1988. He became known as a child performer through “One Voice,” the title song of his debut album, and followed it with records including Dare to Dream and Music Through Heartsongs. As an adult, he introduced his voice to a pop audience as a contestant on The Voice. As a child performer, Billy Gilman sang at the Grand Ole Opry during the early period of his recording career. In 2016, his blind audition of Adele’s “When We Were Young” began a run through the live rounds of season 11; he reached the finale and finished as runner-up on The Voice.
