Blackie & The Rodeo Kings are a Canadian roots-rock trio formed in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1996 by singer-songwriters and guitarists Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson. They first came together to record High or Hurtin’, an album of songs by Willie P. Bennett, then remained a band and developed a catalogue spanning alt-country, folk and rock. Their best-known albums include Kings of Love, BARK and the guest-filled Kings and Queens. In 2022, the trio toured Canada to mark its 25th anniversary, including a concert at Massey Hall in Toronto and dates in Ottawa and Victoria. Their concerts use a full-band format built around traded lead vocals, guitars and songs written by Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson.
