Blaudzun in Amsterdam

Blaudzun is the stage name of Dutch singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Johannes Sigmond, born in 1974. His indie rock and folk-rooted songwriting became widely known through the albums Heavy Flowers and Promises of No Man's Land, followed by the three-part Jupiter project. The title track from Promises of No Man's Land is among his best-known songs. Blaudzun performed at Lowlands in 2012 during the Heavy Flowers album cycle. He later toured Promises of No Man's Land through clubs and concert halls and appeared at Pinkpop in 2014. His concerts use a full-band format built around his vocals, guitar and multi-instrumental arrangements. He has headlined Paradiso in Amsterdam and performed at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht.
