BLUE ENCOUNT is a Japanese rock band formed in Kumamoto in 2004. Their guitar-driven rock and pop-punk songs include “DAY×DAY,” used as an opening theme for Gintama, “Survivor” from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, and “Polaris” from My Hero Academia. In 2016, BLUE ENCOUNT staged the headline concert LIVER’S 武道館 at Nippon Budokan. The following year, the band closed TOUR2017 break “THE END” with a concert at Makuhari Messe.
