Blue Highway in Columbus

Blue Highway is an American bluegrass band formed in Tennessee in 1994. The group plays traditional and contemporary bluegrass shaped by close vocal harmonies, original songwriting and gospel material. Its catalogue includes the albums It’s a Long, Long Road, Marbletown, Through the Window of a Train and Original Traditional, as well as songs such as “Lonesome Pine” and “Some Day.” Blue Highway has performed at the Grand Ole Opry during a touring career built around theatres and bluegrass gatherings. Its five-piece acoustic format, centered on guitar, mandolin, banjo, resonator guitar and bass, has also featured at MerleFest and the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival.
