Blue Rodeo are a Canadian country-rock band formed in Toronto in 1984 by singers and guitarists Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor. Their best-known recordings include “Try,” “Diamond Mine,” “Lost Together” and “Hasn’t Hit Me Yet,” while Five Days in July became a central album in their catalogue. The band played its first show at the Rivoli in 1985. Decades of touring followed, including a 30th-anniversary tour for the debut album Outskirts and the later Many a Mile Tour, both built around extensive runs through Canadian theatres and arenas. Blue Rodeo perform as a full band, centred on Cuddy and Keelor alternating lead vocals and guitar parts, supported by keyboards, bass, drums and additional guitar. Their home-city performances include multi-night engagements at Massey Hall and summer amphitheatre concerts at Budweiser Stage.
