Bob Dylan in Flensburg

Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter, born Robert Zimmerman in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1941. Folk ballads, electric rock, blues, country and gospel all figure in his catalog, which includes “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “Like a Rolling Stone,” Highway 61 Revisited and Blood on the Tracks. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016. At the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, Dylan played an amplified set that became a central episode in his concert history. The Rolling Thunder Revue of 1975 and 1976 later presented his songs through a traveling ensemble that included Joan Baez, while the concert schedule commonly called the Never Ending Tour began in 1988. Songs from his 2020 album formed the center of the Rough and Rowdy Ways World Wide Tour, which began in 2021.
