Bok van Blerk is the stage name of South African singer-songwriter and actor Louis Pepler, who performs mainly in Afrikaans. His music draws on rock, pop and folk, and he is best known for “De la Rey,” a song about Boer general Koos de la Rey; “Afrikanerhart” and “Tyd om te Trek” are also central titles in his catalogue.
