About Boogarins
Boogarins are a Brazilian psychedelic rock band formed in Goiânia in 2012 by Fernando “Dinho” Almeida and Benke Ferraz. Their home-recorded debut, As Plantas Que Curam, introduced their layered guitars and Portuguese-language songs; later albums include Manual, Lá Vem a Morte and Sombrou Dúvida.
Boogarins played Austin Psych Fest during the touring cycle for their debut, then took their later records through clubs in North America and Europe. They subsequently performed at Primavera Sound and Rock in Rio before appearing at Coachella.
