BoomBox is a Ukrainian band formed in Kyiv in 2004 by singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk, guitarist Andriy Samoilo and DJ Valentyn Matiuk. The group plays funk rock shaped by hip-hop, reggae and pop, and is known for songs including “Вахтерам,” “Та4то” and “Наодинці,” as well as the albums “Меломанія” and “Family Бізнес.” In 2014, BoomBox marked ten years as a band with an anniversary tour of Ukraine. The later “Таємний код: Рубікон” tour presented material from the two-part album in full-band concerts, while larger hometown dates included headline shows at Kyiv’s Palace of Sports.
