Bowling For Soup in Birmingham

Bowling For Soup are an American pop-punk band formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1994. Their best-known songs include “Girl All the Bad Guys Want,” “1985,” “Almost” and “High School Never Ends,” while the albums Drunk Enough to Dance and A Hangover You Don’t Deserve established their mix of melodic punk, power-pop hooks and comic storytelling. The Get Happy Tour, launched in 2006, took Bowling For Soup through the United States before the format reached the United Kingdom. They later announced a Farewell UK Tour for 2013, then returned to British stages for the How About Another Round Tour in 2016. Their live work has carried them well beyond Texas, including repeated headline concerts in London and Glasgow.

Ballyhoo! is an American reggae-rock and ska-punk band formed in Aberdeen, Maryland, in 1995 by brothers Howi and Donald Spangler. The group is known for songs including “Walk Away” and “Cali Girl,” as well as the albums Daydreams and Pineapple Grenade. Ballyhoo! played the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, taking its guitar-led reggae and punk songs to outdoor stages across the United States. The band later performed at the California Roots Music and Arts Festival in Monterey.
