Boy Harsher in Berlin

Boy Harsher is an American electronic duo formed in Savannah, Georgia, by vocalist Jae Matthews and producer Augustus Muller. Their darkwave and minimal-synth sound is heard on “Pain,” “Motion” and “LA,” as well as the albums Yr Body Is Nothing and Careful. They also created the short horror film and soundtrack The Runner. In 2019, Boy Harsher toured clubs and theatres in North America and Europe behind Careful. They returned to touring after the release of The Runner, performing as Matthews on vocals and Muller on synthesizers and electronic controls. That live setup reached Coachella in 2023.

Choir Boy is an American synth-pop and dream-pop band formed in Salt Lake City in 2014 by singer Adam Klopp. The group is known for bright synthesizers, post-punk guitar and Klopp’s high, expressive voice, particularly on the albums Passive with Desire and Gathering Swans and the songs “Complainer” and “Toxic Eye.” Choir Boy toured North America with Cold Cave and later performed in Europe, including an appearance at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg.
