Brass Against in Brattleboro

Brass Against is an American brass-rock collective formed in New York in 2017. The group recasts hard rock and metal through horns, percussion and vocals, and is known for versions of Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name,” Tool’s “The Pot” and Audioslave’s “Cochise.” In 2022, Brass Against supported Tool on a European arena tour that included The O2 in London. The group has also performed at Download Festival and Hellfest. Brass Against performs as a large ensemble built around trumpets, trombones, saxophones, percussion and featured singers. Sophia Urista has been among the vocalists who have fronted Brass Against.
