BRAT is an American band formed in New Orleans in 2021, playing deathgrind shaped by grindcore, hardcore and death metal. The group introduced its sound on the EP Mean Is What We Aim For and followed it with the debut album Social Grace, which includes “Hesitation Wound” and “Human Offense.” BRAT has taken that material through U.S. club shows and onto festival stages. Its festival appearances have included Milwaukee Metal Fest and Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore.
