Bratři Ebenové in Pilsen

Bratři Ebenové are a Czech folk group formed in 1984 by brothers Marek, Kryštof and David Eben. Their acoustic songs are distinguished by Marek Eben’s precise wordplay and dry humour; the group’s principal albums include Malé písně do tmy, Tichá domácnost, Já na tom dělám and Chlebíčky. Bratři Ebenové began performing as a trio, centred on voice, guitar, keyboards and wind instruments. Their concert line-up later developed into a full band for theatre and festival appearances, joined by guitarist Pavel Skála, bassist Jaromír Honzák and drummer Jiří Zelenka.
