Bratty & Charli xcx in Freiburg im Breisgau

Bratty is the indie-pop project of Mexican singer-songwriter Jenny Juárez, who began releasing music in Culiacán, Sinaloa. Her guitar-led bedroom pop is heard on the albums Delusión, tdbn and TRES, as well as songs including “Honey, no estás” and the Ed Maverick collaboration “Ropa de bazar.” Bratty performed at Vive Latino in Mexico City before joining the 2023 Coachella lineup in Indio, where she played both festival weekends.

Born Charlotte Aitchison in Cambridge in 1992 and raised in Essex, Charli xcx is a British solo artist whose music spans synth-pop, club electronics and experimental pop. Her catalog includes “Boom Clap,” the SOPHIE-produced “Vroom Vroom,” the mixtape Pop 2, the lockdown-recorded how i’m feeling now, Crash and Brat, released through labels including Asylum and Atlantic. Her live history stretches from teenage appearances at London warehouse raves to festival main stages and arena runs. Hard strobes, video walls and stripped-back club staging put the focus on her physical performance and the crowd, while “Vroom Vroom,” “1999,” “360” and “Von dutch” supply recurring peaks. The 2024 PARTYGIRL Boiler Room set and the co-headlining Sweat arena tour with Troye Sivan translated her rave-centered approach to contrasting club and large-room formats. London remains a natural center, while New York, Chicago, Austin, Toronto and festival cities across Europe and North America continue to feature in her live geography. Those who enjoy Slayyyter or Kim Petras will likely enjoy Charli xcx too.
