Breaking Benjamin is an American hard-rock band formed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1999 by singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley. Its catalog combines alternative metal and post-grunge, and includes the songs “So Cold,” “The Diary of Jane,” “Breath” and “I Will Not Bow,” as well as the albums Phobia and Dear Agony. Breaking Benjamin returned to touring in 2015 after a multiyear hiatus, performing with a rebuilt lineup around Burnley and supporting Dark Before Dawn. They toured North America in 2019 with Chevelle, Three Days Grace and Dorothy, then co-headlined a 2022 US tour with Alice in Chains and opening act Bush.
