Brett Goldstein is an English actor, comedian, writer, producer and podcaster, born in Sutton, London, in 1980. He is known for playing Roy Kent in Ted Lasso, a performance that earned him two supporting-actor Emmy Awards, and for writing and starring in SuperBob. He also presents the film-conversation podcast Films to Be Buried With and co-created the television series Soulmates and Shrinking. In 2006, Brett Goldstein turned to stand-up, followed by an appearance in the Pleasance Comedy Reserve the next year. His solo shows Brett Goldstein Grew Up in a Strip Club, Contains Scenes of an Adult Nature and Burning Man were presented at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
