Brian McKnight in Highland Park

Brian McKnight is an American R&B and soul singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Buffalo in 1969. His self-titled debut album introduced “One Last Cry,” while later releases included Anytime and Back at One, whose title tracks became central songs in his catalogue. In 2007, he made his Broadway debut as Billy Flynn in the musical Chicago. The 2011 Just Me project later documented a concert at the Avalon in Los Angeles, where he performed with his sons Brian McKnight Jr. and Niko McKnight.
