Brooks Williams is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Statesboro, Georgia, in 1958. He is known for fingerstyle acoustic guitar and songs rooted in folk, blues and country, documented on albums including New Everything, My Turn Now and Lucky Star. Williams has performed at Newport Folk Festival and Kerrville Folk Festival during a concert career spanning several decades. In the 2010s he also toured in State of the Union, his duo with English songwriter Boo Hewerdine, while his British festival appearances have included Cambridge Folk Festival and Celtic Connections.
