Artist
Brother Cane is an American hard-rock band formed in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1990 and led by singer and guitarist Damon Johnson. Southern-rock elements run through the group’s three studio albums, Brother Cane, Seeds and Wishpool, which produced songs including “Got No Shame,” “And Fools Shine On” and “I Lie in the Bed I Make.” In 1995, Brother Cane joined Van Halen for dates on the Balance Tour after establishing a live presence through support work for Aerosmith and Robert Plant. Other touring during the decade paired the band with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Candlebox.
